Abraham Lincoln by Bradley Schmehl ~ Schmehl can trace his family back to 1743 to a John Adams Schmehl who received a land grant from one of William Penn's sons. He began his career as an illustrator and was drawn to historical fine art in the mid-90s. His portraits like this one of Lincoln are particularly moving.
