These sculptures are meticulously handcrafted by Big Sky Carvers artists based on my own life experiences. Each Piece comes with a copy of the story from which it was inspired. “Is there any image in all of nature more inspiring, more patriotic, or more astounding than a soaring bald eagle? The bald eagle is a symbol of all things wild, proud, and free. Living in Montana offers me many opportunities to view eagles, for which I am eternally grateful.This great raptor is also renowned for the beauty of its flight. During mating season, the eagle spends more time sky dancing than hunting. The bald eagle is one of many birds with the ability to soar. Eagles use thermals, or rising columns of warm air, to carry them into the heavens. By gliding they save energy. Their long broad wings help the air support them.
