Now In: The Art of Andy Thomas ~ NEW ~ "Change" Painting of Barack Obama

Andy ThomasMany call Andy Thomas the ‘Storyteller' and if you have ever had a chance to view his work you might just agree. Currently he is telling many stories with his action filled western art. These pieces are bringing the cowboys back to life as well as the American West history. In the past, Andy has painting many subjects from a picnic by the river, kids playing sports to a brutal bear fight. All of his paintings end up telling you, the viewer some kind of story of our lives.

Andy Thomas is currently working on two large projects for the NPS. The Civil War Project will depict the battles at Ft. Donelson and Stone's River, Tennessee . There will be a total of eleven new images that will be used as wayside exhibits for each of the battles. After the National Park Service has completed its usage of the original oils they will be for sale to the general public. The expected public unveiling date is sometime in Spring of 2008.

More About "True Blues" & "
Grand Ol' Gang"

Our Presidents have a uniquely solitary job. They surround themselves with the strength and wisdom of talented and experienced people, but as Harry Truman once said, “The buck stops here.” We can hardly imagine the weight of decisions they must bear. Perhaps that is why we are so familiar with the before and after photographs depicting the accelerated ageing process while in office. These leaders deserve some time to relax and unwind.

Some of the greatest times anyone can enjoy are when we can let our guard down because we are among those who have been where we have been: people who know the truth and don’t make harsh judgments. We can have a great time with each other especially after the challenge has been met and the heat is off. We can talk, commiserate and just be ourselves.
Who do former presidents hang out with? Wouldn’t it be just a great time if they could “let their hair down” together and just have a time to laugh and remember? Can you imagine that?

Reagan by Andy Thomas

At the end of his two terms in office, Ronald Reagan viewed with satisfaction the achievements of his innovative program known as the Reagan Revolution, which aimed to reinvigorate the American people and reduce their reliance upon Government. He felt he had fulfilled his campaign pledge of 1980 to restore "the great, confident roar of American progress and growth and optimism."  Read More About The 40th President of the United States of America at the White House Website
