About the Artist

“No bike should spend its life on the sidewalk.”
That’s Todd Van Fleet’s philosophy. He rescues vintage cruiser bikes from barns, sheds, and attics, then straps them to his back and hikes to remote Colorado locations to give each one a story through his lens. Todd’s bold, whimsical photographs earned him a feature exhibit at Denver International Airport in 2008 titled Colorado: See the New West Like a Local.
